With this film I wanted to shed light on the disabled experience. The truth is that life with a disability is rarely portrayed accurately on the screen, if at all. Stories of tragedy and inspiration capture a tiny fragment, missing the full range of conflicting emotions and desires inherent to us as humans. Disability deserves authentic representation in film and television.
